Payment options

Paying for dental care causes many people concerns. At Gunyah Dental you can feel secure in your decisions, knowing that you are in control of how you achieve and pay for your personalised treatment plan. This can be achieved in a number of structured stages; either complete dentistry under one course of treatment in a short period of time, or tooth by tooth over a longer period of time. It’s entirely your choice. Whatever you choose, the result is the same – a beautiful, healthy confident smile.
To that end, we are delighted to highlight various ways you can budget for your dental care – the way YOU want to. We are always very happy to talk about your individual needs – we are here to help.
It is Gunyah Dental’s policy that payment is required at the time of your appointment. If you are unable to pay at the time of your appointment, please notify us prior to your treatment so that we can discuss payment plans and financing options with you.

Pay as you go

The simplest way to budget for your dental treatment. This is a great way to pay if you are spreading your treatment over time so you always know where you are with your finances.
We accept EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard, and Cash or Cheque.

Upfront payment discount

If you have a more comprehensive course of treatment over $2000 planned with us, make the most of receiving a 5% discount off the total cost by paying up front.

HCF More for Teeth Program

We are happy to be part of the HCF More for Teeth program which allows members 2 gap-free check-ups, x-rays, 2 hygiene services, topical fluoride and 2 mouthguards per year.

Health Fund Rebates

We will itemise all your treatment using the Australian Dental Association glossary of item codes. This will allow you to claim any benefits from your health insurer.
We have HICAPS and we can process your health insurance claim on the spot – you will just need to pay any portions not covered by your health insurer.

Gunyah Payment Plan

At Gunyah Dental we are aware that dental treatments may put a strain on your budget, and can seem unaffordable. For this reason, we are pleased to offer the Gunyah Payment Plan to our patients helping you to manage your dental care investment more easily.
We provide all patients with the option to spread the cost of their treatment interest free over a period of 10 – 40 weeks dependent upon the total cost of treatment. By choosing to spread the cost of treatment, it allows you to budget for your dental care whilst ensuring essential dental treatment is completed to help keep your mouth healthy and free of pain.
Our payment plan offers the following benefits:
  • Convenient weekly or fortnightly direct debit payment option
  • No Interest Charges
  • No Credit Checks
  • Spread the cost between 10 – 40 weeks
  • No penalties for early repayment
  • One off $28 set up fee
  • No hidden charges
  • Just 25% deposit required at the start of treatment
  • Compatible with all health funds to further reduce your out of pocket expense

How it works

We will perform a thorough examination and any necessary diagnostic tests before working with you to develop a treatment plan that takes account of your dental needs and preferences. Once you have had the opportunity to fully discuss the proposed treatment plan and costs we can then agree a suitable repayment schedule with you, based on the total cost of treatment. There is a one-off set up cost of $28, and a 25% deposit is required before treatment commences.
If you are interested in spreading the cost of your dental treatment please contact us for further details by using the enquiry form below or calling us on 02 4385 1838.
